Hydraulic / Pneumatic Seals

Hydraulic and pneumatic seals are essential components in fluid power systems, designed to prevent fluid leakage and maintain system pressure. Common types include Rod Seals, Piston Seals, Wiper Seals, Guide Rings, and Wear Rings.

- Rod Seal

Prevents hydraulic fluid from leaking between the rod and the cylinder.

  • Application: Provides sealing during the reciprocating motion of hydraulic cylinders.

- Piston Seal

Separates pressure on either side of the piston to ensure efficient operation.

- Wiper Seal (Scraper)

Prevents external contaminants (dust, dirt, etc.) from entering the cylinder.

- Guide Ring / Wear Ring

Guides the linear movement of the piston or rod and prevents metal-to-metal contact.

- O-Ring / Backup Ring

Used as auxiliary seals, typically in combination with rod or piston seals to enhance sealing performance.
