ASTON KPD Piston seal

ASTON piston seal KPD is a TPU+NBR O-ring combination seal product. It is an economical seal with a space-saving structure, high wear resistance, simple groove design, low price, easy installation, and high sealing performance at low pressure.

In the case of a two-way cylinder, two U-packings must be installed on both sides, so the processing and seal costs are also high.

However, in the case of these KPD seals, the mounting design is simple, and the sealing performance is good, but the pressure is about 400 bar, so it can be used at a lower pressure than the PTFE+NBR O-ring (600 bar).

Instead, the special feature of this seal is that it provides sealing performance even at low pressures with TPU material. It is mainly used when the cylinder mounting space is not spacious or in bidirectional cylinders.
